Ich selbst bin absolut begeistert von couchsurfing. In Wien hab ich schon zwei Mal bei sehr netten Leuten übernachtet und ich freue mich schon, das erste Mal selbst Gäste zu haben, wenn das zeitlich mal klappt. Es hat mich dieses Wochenende auf das Barcamp Bodensee verschlagen! Was ist ein Barcamp? Es ist so eine Art Zusammenkommen von lauter klugen, kreativen oder einfach neugierigen Leuten (Letztere stelle ich dar) die irgendwas mit Web 2.0 zu tun haben und die sich gegenseitig Sessions/Vorträge/Diskussionen zu Themen bieten, die sie interessieren. continue reading »

Als ich mich heute auf den Weg machte, um mein neues Fahrrad abzuholen, das mein altersschwaches rosa Klapper(gerüst)rädchen ablösen sollte, fiel mir auf, dass die rosa Dame nicht mehr da war! After I lost my credit card in Thailand and my camera in Malaysia I lost my debit card in Indonesia! As it didn’t seem to appear again I went to the bank yesterday to order a new debit card. On my way out I dropped my mobile phone (like I did a thousand times before) so that it’s display got damaged. Now, after ordering a new camera, applying for a new debit card I must get a new mobile phone soon.  I seem to be an unlucky fellow. But life is not too bad to me though: Yesterday in the afternoon I went to my optician to get my glasses repaired, the two small plastic pieces for the nose were missing. During the repair they broke a part of the glasses frame so in the end i got brand new glasses! And not just that: On of the staff of my optician seemed to remember me “from old days” and asked me amicable how I am and what I’m doing at the moment. I answered friendly but just couldn’t remember where I knew her from! In the end she gave me a nice ray ban spectacle case for free.  Life is not too unfair.

Can anybody recommend me a good one? Should be small (because I carry it around with me every day) and the pictures should be of good quality.

I acutally don’t need more than 5 Millon Pixel but they don’t seem to be able to get anymore :(  So if anybody knows a good one and where to get it, please write a comment!

For getting to the university or into the city I always have to cross the bike-bridge. you should see the view over the lake witz the austrian alps in the background! if my camera wouldn’t have been stolen in KL i’d have taken a nice picture of it, the sight was just so perfect today with not a single cloud in the sky… i love this town!

I’m back and it seems like nothing has changed. As if there were no 6 months Jakarta in between. If somebody would tell me that everything has just been a nice dream i would easily believe it.

It’s extremely cold here and the trees are all naked. most of the days are quite grey and its nice to be inside in the warm.

I went to Konstanz yesterday and planned to stay as long as I need to find a new room. Fortuna likes me so i got a wonderful room in a cozy and clean apartment with nice flat-mates. And it’s just 3 minutes by bike to my university! I got the tip from Anna.

So I just stayed one night at my friends Markus place in Konstanz and drove home this evening.  I’ll move in on Thursday already!
